Francesca Ferris and Craig Ockwell were married in Sheffield's beautiful Botanical Gardens on Saturday 16th August 2009. They welcomed their guests to their wedding reception at Whirlow Grange Conference Centre. We were delighted to create a hand tied bouquet of stunning velvet red Grand Prix Roses for Francesca which contrasted beautifully with her Benjamin Roberts vintage fishtail dress in pale gold godavri silk. Craig's Grand Prix buttonhole finished with dark green Ivy leaves complemented the dark red tie with a black tailcoat morning suit.
Francesca's two adult bridesmaids' both wore pale gold knee length prom style dresses and carried a cream Avalanche Rose wand finished with gold sprayed looped Bear Grass and double satin gold ribbon to match. The younger bridesmaid's dress had an organza overlay and the flowergirl wore a dress, handmade by the bride's sister, in pale gold silk and carried a tiny basket filled with ivory Rose petals.
The tables in the Reception Room at Whirlow Grange were Francesca's and Craig's own unusual idea of a black vinyl record with a black and white photograph of the couple in the centre decorated with a rustic wire frame onto which we placed white Dendrobium Orchids interspersed with red decorative wire and pearl beads. We added four deep red tealight holders with tealights to complete these novel table centres.

- "The flowers were beautiful - exactly what I'd always imagined my bouquet to look like. The bridesmaid's flowers were really unique and everyone commented on how lovely they were. It was really good too being able to work with you to achieve the tablecentres we wanted."
