Rosi and Simon McGhee chose the perfect English summer setting for their wedding on Saturday 4th July 2009. Hosted by Simon's family at their beautiful home, Carpenter House in Millthorpe, Derbyshire, Rosi and Simon were married at St. Swithin's Church in Holmesfield returning to Carpenter House to greet all their guests for their Reception in a marquee overlooking Millthorpe's cricket pitch.

Rosi wore a bespoke white bridal gown with an intricate lace overlay and carried a fully wired single spray shower bouquet of Cezanne Roses, Phalaenopsis Orchids, Gloriosa Lilies, Viviane spray Roses, Coco Cherie Hypericum berries and a hint of Gypsophilia finished with decorative wire, pearls and organza ribbon. Simon's buttonhole echoed Rosi's bouquet with a single Phalaenopsis Orchid and Eucalyptus Cinerea finished with decorative silver bullion wire.

Rosi's five bridesmaids', dressed in deep orange halter neck satin dresses carried hand tied posies of Cezanne Roses, September flower, Viviane spray Roses, white Eryngium and Eucalyptus Parvifolia finished with white satin ribbon and pearl headed pins.

"Simon and I wanted to write to thank you for playing such a huge part in making our wedding day so special. The day really was beyond our wildest dreams and the flowers you created were simply stunning. Thank you so much for everything."

The Church was decorated with a large oval pedestal arrangement in deep pinks, oranges and ivories including pink Larkspur, Cezanne Roses, Coco Cherie Hypericum berries and the incredible cerise pink Gloriosa Lilies. These flowers were continued down the aisle with hand tied pew ends finished with ivory tulle bows to provide the perfect finish to the natural delights of St. Swithin's Church at Holmesfield.

Rosi and Simon chose to enhance their guests' tables in the marquee with a mix of low glass footed bowls (as shown in the photograph opposite) reflected in circular mirrors and tall martini vase arrangements, also standing on mirrors. We wanted to capture the richness and depth of colour throughout the wedding so used the Cezanne Roses, Gloriosa Lilies and Tango Leucospermum in abundance adding interesting textures through mixed Eucalyptus foliages and the pretty white spiky Eryngium.
